·                  Do I have to purchase a tanning package?
-No. Your tanning experience is your choice. You are completely free to pay-as-you-go with single sessions whenever you want to tan. There is no obligation to purchase a package.
 
·                  What are Minutes?
-Minutes are 'credits' that can be used on a certain bed. They are purchased in quantities starting at 50 and increasing up to 100. For example, one Minute will be deducted for each minute you are in the tanning bed.
 
·                  Do Minutes expire?
-No. Universal Minutes don't expire. Ever.
 
·                  Can I share a package?
-If you have a package that is based on 'units' like  Minutes , then those 'units' can be shared with as many people as you want. This can be a great cost savings for a group; it will cost less for a couple to purchase 100 minutes and share them than for each of them to purchase 50 minutes for themselves. Many families, getting ready for vacation, will purchase a larger package for the entire family to use. Everyone gets the level of bed they like, they don't all have to come at the same time.
Any package that is based on 'time' - Monthly Unlimited packages - cannot be shared.
 
·                  What is an EFT package?
-An EFT package is another option for a longer-term tanner. If you are interested in getting the best value, this could be the plan for you. EFT packages are available on all our beds. They work just like a monthly unlimited, but the payment is automatically drafted from your credit card on the 1st of every month. There is a , and once that commitment has been met, you can keep tanning for the same price as long as you want. For those customers who want it all, the lowest price, the easiest payments, and the best tan in town, this plan has it all.
 
·                  Which is a better value - Universal Minutes or a Membership?
-This all depends on how often and how long you plan to tan. If you are interested in tanning 3-4 times per week every week, you'll find it less expensive to purchase a monthly unlimited package. If you aren't sure how often you'll be tanning, or if you are only tanning for a specific event (vacation, wedding, Christmas party) you'll want to think about a Minute package.
A monthly unlimited package is purchased for a specific amount of time. You can tan once per day during business hours until your package expires. If you miss a day, or a week, Extreme Tan does not add days to your package.  Minutes, on the other hand, do not expire. Ever. If you don't use them this week, or this month, or this year, they will stay on your account until you come back and use them up.

·                  I purchased an EFT membership, but I'm going out of state for 3 weeks. Can I freeze my package so that I am not charged while I am gone?
-Absolutely! We want you to be able to use every single day you paid for. You can freeze your monthly unlimited/ EFT  package for one month at a time twice per year. There is a fee to freeze - $5 every time you freeze. Once you freeze your EFT, it will stay frozen for 30 days. 
·                  I purchased a membership  for a  Reg. bed, but now I want to use the Mega beds. How can I upgrade?
-It's easy! You can either upgrade one time or you can upgrade your package. If you want to upgrade just one time, let the sales associate know and you'll get to choose a new level of tanning bed for just one session. There is a fee of $10.00  for this upgrade. If you want to upgrade your entire package, simply let us know and we will adjust the price difference. Your choice - we want you tanning in the bed you like.
·                What if I need to cancel my EFT package before my contract date?
-If all payments have been made you may cancel your membership at any time.  You need to come in and fill out our cancellation form. This allows you and Extreme Tan both have the exact date on file that you wish to cancel so there is no dispute as to when it was received.  If all payments have not been made, there will be a fee of $50.00  to cancel or the remaining balance of your membership, whichever is greater.  You also have the option of transferring your membership to a friend if they are willing to sign the contract and  take over responsibility of making the remainder payments required to fulfill your contract.  If you are military and are deployed, simply provide proof of deployment and you will be automatically released from your membership even if all payments were not made.
